Alexandra Owen 'Winter 2010' Collection

This range by Alexandra Owen features a lot of black, white and neutral colourings with a touch of fur. Creating extremely versatile and wearable pieces, they are well constructed and designed in a unique and interesting way. Shirts feature prominently alongside cuffed pants, shift dresses and jackets. Trelise Cooper 'Winter 2010' Collection

Trelise never fails to produce a feminine, pretty and successful range. Shown here is her current winter range which prominently features colours such as pinks, greens, creams, blacks and neutral beiges.
Overall the victorian influences make for a successful collection which is wearable and bright in the New Zealand climate.

Kate Sylvester 'This Charming Man' Collection

Showcased at Sydney's Rosemount Fashion Week, the new collection is a romantic, fun and flirty mix of vintage pastels. Titled 'This Charming Man', the spring summer collection for 2010/2011 featured pretty peach, cream and pink pastels which were contrasted by tan coloured leather skirts and shorts and accompanied by cute corsages and brooches adorning the top half. Lace and shirts came into play, alongside cute big bow scarfs which are definitely wearable.

Karen Walker has a successful range of trendy eyewear. Her new collection recently released has an aztec inspired feel, and a lookbook which appropriately matches. This is some of my fashion work. I created this snow queen garment completely from recycled product such as mosquito netting and doilies. Photographed by myself it was the winning entry in the Wearable Art section of the 'New Zealand Young Designer Award'
